Hi, I’m Jane, Founder and CEO of Warmür.

Warmür wasn’t something I planned... it was born out of necessity, a splash of coffee, and a spark of inspiration. Like so many others during the pandemic, I was navigating the challenges of working from home when I was unexpectedly laid off. 

I wasn’t looking to start a business, but life had other plans.

One chilly morning, while wrapped in an oversized living room blanket at my desk, I spilled coffee all over the floor. Frustrated and uncomfortable, I realized what I really needed was a blanket designed specifically for working, a blanket that kept me warm and cozy but wouldn’t get in the way of my productivity. I searched everywhere for an office chair blanket, but nothing existed.

That weekend I went home, dusted off the sewing machine I’d had since I was 12 years old, and created the first-ever Warmür prototype. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked. I shared my creation on social media, and to my surprise, people loved it. They wanted one too.

As demand grew, I taught myself everything I could about running a business, from production to marketing, from finding retailers to building a brand I could be proud of. It’s been a journey of late nights, countless lessons, and moments of joy as I watched my little idea grow into something much bigger.
